Lt. Gen. (Retd) Najib Ullah Khan, HI (M) joined Army Welfare Trust in January, 2018 as the Managing Director. The General was commissioned in Corp of Engineers in 1980. He has varied experience of command, staff and instructional assignments. General holds B.Sc. Civil Engineering and M.Sc. War Studies degrees. He is a graduate of Command and Staff College Quetta, Staff College Camberely (UK) and National Defence University Islamabad. He has been on the faculty of Pakistan Military Academy and National Defence University Islamabad. He Commanded an Infantry Brigade, an Infantry Division and Frontier Works Organization, the largest construction Organization of Pakistan. General has also served as Quarter Master General of Pakistan Army Engineers –in –Chief and Director General Joint Staff Pakistan Army. General holds large experience of development and Construction. He also has the privilege and honor of successfully planning, executing and leading Operation Zarb-e-Azab.
Maj. General Akhtar Iqbal (Retd) joined Army Welfare Trust as Executive Director in February 2018. The General was commissioned in Pakistan Army in 1979. He has a diversified experience of command, staff and instructional assignments. He is a graduate of Command and Staff College Quetta and also holds a Masters degree in War Studies from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. He Commanded an Infantry & Artillery Brigade, Performed responsibilities as Director General (Coordination) President Secretariat, Deputy Chief of Staff President Secretariat, Military Secretary to President, General Officer Commanding Infantry Division and Director General Organization & Methods, Pakistan Army. General holds a vast experience of leadership and organizational management.
Malik Riffat Mehmood is currently working as Director Finance at Army Welfare Trust. He is a seasoned finance professional with diversified working experience in multiple industries including Pharmaceutical, Aviation, Textile, Oil and Gas and Sugar. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He has hands-on experience of strategic and financial planning coupled with proven ability of translating strategic vision into practical action plans.
Mr. Tariq Iqbal Khan is the Ex-Chairman of National Investment Trust Limited. He has also served on vaious positions in Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. Mr. Khan has also played a significant role as Pakistan Bank Association's Chairman. Mr. Khan is a Chartered Accountant by profession and has over 30 years of experience. He has served on boards of various other banks and companies.
Mr. Salman Haider has over 20 years of Investment Management experience including almost 10 years on Wall Street starting with Merrill Lynch in 1996 along with Janney and Wachovia-Wells Fargo. He has held series 7 and series 63 licenses with life & health insurance licenses of NASD in New York to develop and invest in diverse investment products including securities, debentures, futures & options, commodities and annuitized insurance investment plans.
